Unfortunately I don’t have pictures from that day, but it was awesome to say the least - and my fingers hurt like hell! Met up with Bhas and Paul at 1pm for some last minute practice, then off to KK’s volunteer room where we had some more time for practice. Funny thing was, Bhas actually wanted to sing Maxwell’s Silver Hammer by the Beatles. A happy melody, but… ermm.. lyrics a bit inappropriate! We then went on a whirlwind tour of about 5 wards I think (I kinda lost count), and it was a joy to be there at some of the wards with the kids dancing to our songs and jumping up and down! We even had a request for a chinese song.

There can be room for improvement though, and I’ve already sent through my suggestions for the next time round (8th Feb I believe). I just think that we could do more for the kids at the wards - especially since the wards were frighteningly cold and quiet - white walls and everything. Kids shouldn’t be in environments like that. I wouldn’t want my son to be in that kind of environment.

I’ve written a song fragment and tested it out on my son (something called “Mr. Alligator”) and he seems to be liking it. I’ll try it out next time.

Ian - I’ll take you up on the Wiggles songs - I’ll drop you a mail this week.

Adrian - Next time remember the pictures!!!
